Dr M: I’m distressed by loss of Malay voice

Dear Tun M's concerns was pubished in the Star Online site on Sunday September 26, 2010, and one his claims was 'the Malays were split because of selfish politicians who wanted power at all costs'.

This is GOLD! This is a politician who ruled for 22 years, replaced his 1st and 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, encouraged money politics in his beloved UMNO, encouraged his coalition party leaders to be despotic and run their respective arms literally to the ground, and he takes the moral highground now.

Well Tun M - you are the reason that we dont have sustainable leadership mindset...
Your successor Tun Abdullah is a more progressive leader than you...he didnt' hold on to his power...he could have resorted to your style of governance...rule by threat and force...he took the noble approach.

You on the other hand sir are a hypocrite!

Tun M. on Bakun...another mammoth idea ...

Tun M's recent comments on Bakun goes to show another whinge at his successor...

Hence my comments on his blog:

in addition to S..Tan's comments, it'll be great for the Malaysian public to know what the findings of the study that was done to understand the delays of the construction.

You gave your views on how you felt your sucessor government did not ensure success of this project. It will also serve the public to hear from those companies what they felt were poor decisions from the government that led to the 3rd revival of the project. This info will benefit those who want to understand facts, not just hear your one sided version.

Also, those who actually pick up on Tun's sentiments...note how he impresses this will be the LARGEST submarine cable installation in the world...this is Tun M. in his element. Everything has to be biggest, tallest and mammoth...not necessarily needed or efficient.

Tun M...why dont you ask Tun A. for a live TV debate on why he should not have overturned a number of your plans...or is that something you feel is beneath you?

___________________________________________________________________________________

Tun M. will continue to moan about whatever his successor did or didnt do...but he should only see how he has a lot of "white elephant" grand plans with no long term and sustainable approach...

Mathias my brother...

Tun's recent claims that Mathias has done no wrong and the judge exceeded her position in both accusing and then charging Mathias of being contempt of court is farcical.

This is the new Tun...the one who cries foul of everyone and everything he considers to be wrong or immoral.

The old Tun of course wouldn't even have to bat an eyelid...this situation may not have come about. The Judge would have known who they were dealing with and the person's association with the VVIP and ahem!

But the new Tun now blogs about how injustice is being served in our Malaysian courts today...and poor Mathias, who would do no wrong, is now accused of being in contempt when all he was was rude to the judge and the opposing lawyer. And then what does Mathias do...yeah, go straight for the "unfairly charged playbook" - hunger strike!

I recently updated Tun's latest blog "Law and the courts" with these retorts:

Aha Tun...

so, in other words, you're comparing the ability of the Judge to accuse and convict someone as being contempt of court as "Judicial despotism"...nice

So, when you took upon yourself to
a/ dismiss Anwar Ibrahim as the countries deputy PM without the due course of law being fully exercised (pronounced guilty by proceedings of court) - you weren't acting as Judge & Jury all rolled in one?

b/ stand-down the 3 Chief Justices without the full assessment of an independant body confirming these justices can be lawfully dismissed - you weren't acting as Judge & Jury all rolled in one?

c/ constantly harrasing Tun Abdullah to resign on the basis of your accusations that he was mismanaging the party and government without filing a single formal charge against him - you weren't acting as Judge & Jury all rolled in one?

So, when the shoe is on the other foot - when one of your cronies is now rapped on the knuckles by the judge for having been rude to her during an official proceeding, you accuse the judge of exceeding their authority.

Sir, facts are there for you to face that Mathias Chang is being a massive drama queen, and he should have first and foremost conducted himself professionally in court.

I wonder what his minnions will retort in return...whatever it may be,it doesn't negate the fact that Tun M. is Tun M...hypocritical!

Tun Mahathir - Politician extraordinaire

Tun M has only one mission - getting ahead at whatever cost, and discrediting others at all cost.

His recent conspiracy theory that the Americans staged 9/11 so they can find some excuse to go after Muslim(s) (that is invariably what Tun M. is implying) goes to show that the man will stop at nothing to divert attention away from him.

Of course he does this with such finesse, so people are spending far more time criticising him for his insensitivities, rather than look deep into his indiscretions.

Agreed Tun M is not corrupted by money, or women (at least he is no 'Tiger', from what I believe). However, he is corrupted to the core on Power.

He still wields lots of power and influence over the corporations of Malaysia. Companies would love him to sit at their board because of the influence he wields into the Government and economy of Malaysia.

But is the power and influence he wields good and clean or is it the sort where it borders on corruption?

We all know what happens when Tun's influence gets questioned - he just gets fiesty and lets his many minnions do his bidding to either get those claims quashed or get the person "bumped off". Look at the fate of the former PM - Tun Abdullah. If a Prime Minister of a country can't fend of Tun M's influence, what chance do poor simple folk like us have?

Tun M. truly is a Politician extraordinaire...
